The Australian Signals Directorate’s Australian Cyber Security Centre (ASD's ACSC) has a new publication, Practical Cyber Security Tips for Business Leaders to help business leaders and senior executives secure their accounts and devices. This includes advice to help business leaders secure their social media accounts and communication channels like emails and texts, as well as how to travel securely.
The publication includes the top tips business leaders can implement to improve their cyber security.
- Keep your device operating system up to date
- Update your software to protect sensitive information
- Enable multi-factor authentication, where available, and;
- Back up your important files.
